Join us for our Historic Walking Tours! Meet at the Little White School for your tour of St. Albert's past. 7:30 pm on the following Thursday evenings this summer:

Father Lacombe Chapel:
This summer, Father Lacombe Chapel is hosting events that offer visitors a glimpse of what life was like in the 1860s. Built by Father Albert Lacombe and Métis helpers, the chapel was once the centre of the French-speaking and Métis communities in the area.
Oh Canada! July 1, 12-4 pm
Join us on July 1 as we celebrate "Oh Canada!" Celebrate with historic demonstrations, an old fashioned craft, tours, a scavenger hunt and home-made ice cream!
Restoring the Past! July 10, 11-12 pm
Join jus for a talk with historic building expert, Jim Nakonechny, who will discuss the restoration work done on Father Lacombe Chapel. Crafts will be available for children, refreshments will be served.
Taste of the Past! July 25, 12-5 pm
Step back in time and discover history by tasting it! Sample fried bannock and blueberries, pemmican, lemonade and olde fashioned ice cream! Take a guided tour, play old games, make a craft and take home a copy of your favorite recipe.
Mission Hill Day! August 15
Celebrate Mission Hill Day and enjoy the historic photo display, historic demonstrations, and a tall glass of lemonade while you enjoy the view from atop Mission Hill. There will also be crafts and games for children.
